Four elderly passengers were hurt while they were riding a school bus on the northeast side of Appleton.
Police say the bus was forced to brake hard at the intersection of Northland Avenue and Ballard Road around 10:15 a.m. today. The people hurt are between 71 and 99 years old. They were taken to local hospitals, and their conditions haven’t been released.
The 11 people on board were from an Appleton rehabilitation center.
The State Patrol is investigating, including looking into the restraints that were used by passengers on the bus.
