Local businesses throughout the Fox Cities, Oshkosh, and Green Bay areas are taking part in Small Business Saturday.
Organizer Heather Wessley of Fox Communities Credit Union says it’s a way to get shoppers interested in what they offer. She says many have gift certificates for the difficult-to-shop-for people on Christmas lists.
Wessley says nearly 200 businesses will be participating. She says shoppers should pick up a passport at any of them, and have it stamped at each store. She says the odds of winning a prize increases with the number of stamps.
