Voters in the Neenah school district will have a referendum on the ballot in April of next year.
District spokesman Jim Strick says the school board is unanimously asking for nearly $115 million.
The proposal calls for building a new high school along Winchester Road, east of Clayton Avenue. The current high school would be converted into an intermediate school and middle school.
The district would use some of the money to improve security at all buildings.
The impact on school property taxes would be $99 a year, for every $100,000 of value. The district would borrow $47 million through its regular budget to pay for a portion of the projects.
Fifty-two percent of voters said “no” to a nearly $130 million referendum last April. It called for replacing Shattuck Middle School, and renovating the elementary schools.
