More people are getting caught selling drugs in Winnebago and Calumet counties.
The Fox Cities LIFE Study reports the increase in arrest rates matches a statewide trend.
Tina Jerred of the Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team says they see the devastation from drug crimes every day. She says that includes overdoses, sometimes from bad batches of drugs that are more potent than users believe.
The study found drug arrest rates went down in Outagamie County.
The violent crime rate in the Fox Cities region is still below the state average.
