A 25-year-old Shiocton man has serious injuries from a rollover crash this morning, but Outagamie County Sheriff’s deputies think it could’ve been much worse.
Lt. Ryan Carpenter says it’s amazing the man is alive, because there’s significant damage to the car and he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. He says the man’s injuries aren’t life-threatening. He was flown to a hospital by the ThedaStar helicopter.
Carpenter says alcohol and speed were factors.
Rescue crews were called to the scene, north of Shiocton, around 8:30 a.m. The man crashed near a curve along Highway 187, by Kliner Road.
