Police were looking for the man shot and killed by officers in Fox Crossing, after he rammed a police car in Neenah earlier this month.
Winnebago County Sheriff John Matz says when they found the suspect’s car the next day in the Town of Vinland, a stolen gun was inside. He says they linked it to several armed burglaries in Brown County.
After tracking the man to a home on Grove Street last night, Matz says about 12 SWAT members went to arrest him. He says the man was armed and some of the officers opened fire.
Matz says Grand Chute tried to arrest the man for selling meth in July, and he also hit a police car while escaping.
