
Some farmers in northeast Wisconsin aren’t sure if Governor Evers and state lawmakers will be able to help them.
Phillip Ullmer of Pulaski says prices have been down and the weather hasn’t been on their side over the past couple of years. He says that makes everything hard.
Ullmer says they’ve heard promises from lawmakers in the past, and he’ll wait and see if they do anything.
Dairy farmer Ray Diedrich says the industry is more of a national and global one, so he’s not sure what the state can do to make a difference. But he says Evers can be positive about what farmers are doing.
