The United Way Fox Cities collected $8.75 million during last year’s fundraising campaign.
Spokeswoman Mary Rhode says the money will impact one in three people in the area. She says it will be handed out to more than 100 programs.
The amount is about $50,000 more than the nonprofit raised last year, but it’s short of the $9 million goal.
The United Way Fox Cities hosted a celebration with about 250 people at Fox Cities Stadium last night.
