The YMCA of the Fox Cities got a grant to start the Get Connected Stay Connected program.
Financial Development Director Jan Davey says they’ll teach people how to use their cell phones, tablets, and computers for things like Facebook. She says it’s designed to let seniors connect with grandchildren and the younger generation, when they’re at home.
Davey says it should help them avoid feeling isolated.
The free program will get underway in the spring at the Neenah-Menasha location. The YMCA got a two-year,, $50,000 grant from Bader Philanthropies.
