Staff at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary are celebrating the apparent return of a stolen hedgehog.
Clover was taken from her cage more than a week ago.
Green Bay Parks Director Dan Ditscheit says someone brought her back last Friday. He says the person walked into the gift shop, placed the hedgehog on the counter, told a staffer “here’s your hedgehog back” and walked out the door.
Ditscheit says they checked the hedgehog, to try to figure out if it really is Clover. He says it’s a girl, and has the same weight, markings, and mannerisms.
