The WIAA will put attendance limits on the rest of the basketball games in the high school season.
Teams will only be able to sell 88 tickets for each game. Bands, cheerleaders, and non-essential personnel won’t be able to be there.
The decision impacts the girls state tournament that starts today at the Resch Center.
The attendance limits will also apply to the boys sectional games tonight and Saturday. As of right now, the same rules would be in place for the state boys basketball tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison next weekend.
