The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin is now up to 842.
That’s a 19 percent increase from yesterday’s total of 707. The state Department of Health Services is releasing the latest numbers.
The 18 confirmed cases in Fond du Lac County is an increase of one. Brown County has five, but the county’s health department is confirming a sixth case.
Four other local counties are the same. Winnebago is at six, Outagamie is at four, Calumet is at one, and Waupaca is at one.
Oconto County is also confirming its first case. It isn’t included in the state’s total.
There are now confirmed cases in at least 41 of the state’s 72 counties.
