More grants are going out to local groups from a COVID-19 Community Response Fund.
Ten nonprofits will share $115,000.
Tony Gonzalez of the United Way Fox Cities says one of their priorities is helping with housing. COTS in the Fox Cities is getting $20,000. Foundations for Living in Waupaca, SAM 25 in Shawano, and Mission of Home House in New London are also receiving grants.
Some of the money will helpĀ families. Gonzalez says the YMCA of the Fox Cities will use $30,000 to serve children of child care and other essential workers. The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley are getting $10,000.
Christine Ann in Oshkosh and Harbor House in Appleton are also receiving money.
The United Way and Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region worked together to start the fund. They provided another $80,000 in grants last week.
