A group is starting a program to give people someone to talk with during the coronavirus pandemic.
Volunteer Fox Cities is looking for people to use the phone to reach out.
Executive Director Susan Vanden Heuvel says they’re helping the vulnerable and homebound, through the Phone Pals initiative. She says the volunteers would make a regular call, and find out if any organizations could help them.
Vanden Heuvel says about 50 volunteers are already signed up to talk with others.
