Bars in Outagamie County aren’t able to get a loan from the county government and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce.
The county’s tavern league is angry its small businesses aren’t eligible.
Jennifer Brown of the chamber says bars weren’t included in past revolving loan funds, either. She says a number of companies aren’t eligible in Outagamie County, including home-based businesses and real estate investment firms.
The tavern league reports bars can apply for a similar loan program in Winnebago County.
