Hunters are overwhelmingly rejecting a proposed extension of the gun-deer season.
The Wisconsin Conservation Congress surveyed them this spring, and just 15,000 supported the idea of adding 10 more days. About 42,000 opposed it.
They also support dropping the holiday deer hunting season in some parts of the state, during December.
The state Natural Resources Board could take up the proposals later this year.
