Local leaders say there’s a lot of confusion in the wake of yesterday’s repeal of the state’s “safer at home” order by Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.
Winnebago County Executive Mark Harris says most people aren’t sure what the rules are now. Harris says he’s been getting plenty of phone calls. Some are from business leaders who don’t plan to open. Others are coming from people who want an extension, and then some want businesses to completely open.
Governor Evers predicted “chaos” across Wisconsin after his order was struck down. He believes Majority Republicans in the Legislature now “own” whatever happens in the state moving forward.
