More nonprofit groups in the region are getting help through a special COVID-19 fund.
The Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region and United Way Fox Cities are handing out $153,000 to 12 organizations.
Goodwill is getting $50,000 for employment and skills training programs to help people get back to work.
Tony Gonzalez of the United Way says the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley will get $25,000 to support child care programs and provide free meals to children.
Pillars will receive $20,000 to make sure the homeless have safe places to stay, in hotels, because social distancing guidelines are in place at their shelters.
Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin is receiving $10,000 to transition to virtual programs for parents, and early learning for kids.
CP Fox Cities will use $5,000 to provide virtual programs and support.
Nearly $1.1 million has been donated to the fund, so far.
