A state lawmaker from Appleton supports a move to mail applications for absentee ballots to every registered voter in Wisconsin.
Republican Senate President Roger Roth says the Wisconsin Elections Commission wants to let voters track their mail-in ballots. Several tubs of ballots for people in the Appleton and Oshkosh areas were never delivered from a U.S. Postal Service facility, before April’s election.
Roth says they’re going to use technology next time, so voters can follow their ballot through the process.
Roth tells Fresh Take people should have confidence in the mail-in system. He doesn’t think there’s widespread voter fraud.
