Appleton police have a new section on the department’s website to let people reach out with questions, and see the answers to other ones.
Police Chief Todd Thomas says he’ll respond to them. He says they often hear similar questions from people, coming from the national discussion or what they see on social media.
He believes it will be a safe place for people to go, read answers, and email any questions they have.
Thomas says some people might not be comfortable asking a question at a forum, or going up to one of their uniformed officers to ask a question.
The section of the website is called “Inquire, Inform, Improve.”
