The head of an advocacy group’s Appleton office admits she was thrilled, and a little shocked, by the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling protecting LGBTQ people from job discrimination.
Kathy Flores of Diverse and Resilient says they’ve received other bad news recently, including President Trump’s executive order last week targeting protections for transgender people in health care.

Flores says there’s still a lot of work to do, because health care is still a barrier, especially for transgender people.
