The latest round of grants from a COVID-19 Community Response Fund will go to six nonprofits.
They’ll share $28,000. The United Way Fox Cities and Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region have provided more than $830,000 in grants so far.
Tony Gonzalez of the United Way says they’ve raised more than $1.2 million, and donations continue to come in.
Bridges Child Enrichment Center is receiving $8,500 to get supplies and equipment, in response to the pandemic.
Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity will buy disinfecting supplies and protective items for staff and volunteers at construction sites.
