The DNR plans to restart in-person hunter safety classes, after a hunter advocacy group filed a lawsuit last week.
The Kansas-based Hunter Nation believes the department has no authority to cancel them during the coronavirus pandemic, arguing it’s denying people the right to hunt.
The DNR canceled all in-person classes in March.
Classes will restart on July 13th, with a maximum of 50 people per class, and social distancing guidelines.
