Fond du Lac firefighters rescued a man from the Fond du Lac River last night.
They say the man fell in, in the area of Forest Avenue and Macy Street, and someone jumped in to help. Because there are high-banked walls along the shore, they had to set up a rope system and a basket to get the man out of the water.
He was taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
