Green Bay’s mayor and an alderwoman are working on an anti-discrimination law.
Alderwoman Barbara Dorff realized the city didn’t have one after attending a fair housing presentation last year. Mayor Eric Genrich says the law will address housing and include employment and public accommodations. He plans on creating an Equal Rights Commission. He tells Action 2 News he would appoint all nine members. They hope to have the law passed by the council this summer and the Equal Rights Commission in place by fall.
