A fund through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region will help some nonprofits deal with the pandemic.
President Curt Detjen says they’re giving $114,000 from the Bright Ideas Fund to 44 organizations.
He says some of them focus on racial and ethnic minorities, including African Heritage, Casa Hispana, and the Hmong American Partnership.
Arts, culture, and environmental groups are also getting some of the money. They include the Fox Valley Symphony Orchestra, Heckrodt Nature Preserve, and the Trout Museum of Art.
