The Appleton Children’s Week will be different this year, and organizers are putting together a series of safe activities.
The events kick off with a drive-in movie in the Fox Cities Stadium parking lot. They’ll be showing “Frozen II” on Sunday, July 19th.
Oliver Zornow of the Building for Kids says the Appleton parks and recreation department is also involved with many things kids can do on their own time. That includes a scavenger hunt.
The Children’s Parade along College Avenue is usually the biggest event. This year, organizers are asking families to decorate their yards. They can put their address on a map, and everyone can drive around to check them out on July 22nd.
