Despite the pandemic, a survey shows only 23 percent of businesses believe they’ll be in the red at the end of the year.
Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce President Kurt Bauer says 51 percent expect to make less money, but still have a profit. Seven percent weren’t impacted by the pandemic, and another seven percent expect to be more profitable.
He credits a strong economy going into the crisis.
The business group surveyed 150 companies over the last two weeks of June.
