The state set another single-day record for confirmed coronavirus cases.
There are 964 more cases, topping the previous high of 926 from last Saturday. It’s also the fifth time since July 4th that the state has set a new record.
There have now been 37,906 confirmed cases.
The state is reporting 6.6 percent of new tests came back positive. That’s down from 7.5 percent, and 10.1 percent Sunday.
There are 7,800 active cases, and that’s 353 more than yesterday. That total has jumped by almost 2,500, or 30 percent, over the past 14 days. Seventy-seven percent of confirmed cases have recovered, and that’s down one percent.
Hospitals are treating 293 COVID-19 patients, and that’s 10 more. Another 147 are waiting for test results.
The state is reporting 826 confirmed deaths, and that’s six more than yesterday.
Brown County has 76 new cases, Outagamie 30, Winnebago 11, and Oconto 10.
Kewaunee added eight, and Manitowoc seven. Waupaca and Shawano each have six more.
Fond du Lac has four more, and Calumet two.
