Artists are working with chalk on the sidewalks along College Avenue in downtown Appleton.
Lynn Schemm of Appleton Downtown Incorporated says 18 people are participating in this year’s Chalk Walk.
There are two categories, :In It To Win It” and “Just For Fun.” She says they could start working at 9 a.m. and they had until 6 p.m. to finish.
The chalk drawings are along College Avenue between Richmond and Durkee streets.
Schemm says they’ll post pictures of all of them on the Appleton Downtown Incorporated Facebook page. People will be able to vote for their favorite starting Monday.
