A survey in Oshkosh shows 82 percent think the quality of life in the city is good or excellent.
City spokesman Andy Radig says 93 percent feel safe in their home. He says they asked about a person’s neighborhood, and 94 percent felt safe during the day, and 65 percent at night.
For business areas, 92 percent thought that during the day, and 53 percent at night.
Trash collection, the Oshkosh Public Library, and recycling services got the highest ratings for city services.
Snow and ice removal, planning and zoning, and the quality of housing were among the lowest ones.
Nearly 300 people took the survey.
