A kitchen fire damages a home on Appleton’s southeast side.
Crews were called around 11 a.m. yesterday to a home in the 2100 block of East Lourdes Drive. No people were home but two cats were inside and they were rescued. One needed oxygen. The pets were returned to the owners. The fire was contained to the kitchen but there’s smoke damage throughout the building.
