A state appeals court is upholding the conviction of a former Fox Crossing municipal judge.
Len Kachinsky was convicted of violating a restraining order filed by the municipal court manager. A Winnebago County jury found him guilty last year.
The state Supreme Court is banning him from being a municipal judge for three years, through July of next year.
Kachinsky was Brendan Dassey’s first attorney in the Teresa Halbach murder case.
