More officers will be on the road looking for drunk drivers for the next couple of weeks.
The national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign begins today.
Appleton Police Officer Meghan Cash says they’ll be pulling people over for a variety of traffic violations, including speeding. She says there are so many options to use to get a safe ride home.
Appleton police have arrested more than 300 people since January 1st for driving drunk. About 140 people died in alcohol-related crashes in the state last year.
The Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign runs through Labor Day.
