A 40-year-old man is in custody for a murder in Manitowoc.
Police say a 32-year-old man was on the ground outside a home on Marshall Street around 8:30 p.m. yesterday. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The suspect took off, and they learned his name is Craig Holtz.
Police say Holtz went to a house, took a shower, changed clothes, and got a ride to another home on the north side. He was arrested there, with help from the SWAT team.
Holtz lives in New Holstein, and he’s currently facing drug charges.
