UW System President Tommy Thompson isn’t revealing what the threshold is, for when campuses would have to close because of a COVID-19 outbreak, but he says he has one in mind.
Thompson adds he hasn’t told it to anyone.
The former governor and U.S. Health and Human Services secretary made the comments during an online Milwaukee Press Club event today.
Students will be coming back to UW System campuses in the coming weeks. A number of colleges across the country have had spikes in cases, and some sent students home.
