UW-Oshkosh was one of the colleges hit by a string of bomb threats.
University police say they received multiple calls from different phone numbers between 10:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. yesterday. A distorted voice claimed nail bombs had been planted on campus, but didn’t specifically mention Oshkosh.
Bomb-sniffing dogs helped search the buildings on all three campuses, and they didn’t find anything. Colleges in Pennsylvania and Kentucky also received similar calls.
