The Kanye West ballot situation in Wisconsin might lead the state Elections Commission to set up a synchronized timing system for local clerks.
West’s campaign workers missed the 5 p.m. deadline to file his nomination papers, so he won’t be on the November presidential ballot in Wisconsin.
Commission member Dean Knudson says they could sound a buzzer or alarm at the deadline, to make it clear that the hour has arrived.
The commission voted 5-1 yesterday to block West’s request to be on the ballot.
