Former Governor Scott Walker was in the spotlight, during the Republican National Convention in Charlotte today.
He officially announced the nomination of Vice President Mike Pence, and believes President Trump and Pence make a great team.
Walker pointed out Trump and Pence were in Wisconsin, while the Democratic National Convention was underway in Milwaukee. He says at the same time, Joe Biden was hanging out in his basement in Delaware.
The GOP event will also be a largely virtual one. State Party Chair Andrew Hitt and three others are in Charlotte, but nearly all of the state’s delegates are staying in Wisconsin.
