The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department is seeing a rash of stolen cars.
Grand Chute police are investigating several cases from Saturday, in the area around the Fox River Mall.
Investigators say a suspect is taking them for a short time, abandoning them, and stealing another. They think the same person also stole vehicles in the towns of Ellington, Cicero, and Seymour.
A burglary in the county could also be connected.
Deputies say in one of the cases, the suspect confronted the driver and demanded her keys. She handed them over, and wasn’t hurt.
