A free community COVID-19 testing site is opening in Oshkosh Tuesday, and it’s scheduled to be there for the rest of the year.
It’s at Sunnyview Expo Center, and the Wisconsin National Guard will run it.
Shelley Brown-Giebel of the Winnebago County Public Health Department says it’s for the entire region. She says they want people to get tested, if they believe they were exposed to COVID-19.
After the Labor Day weekend, the site will be open six days a week, from Monday through Saturday. The hours vary.
People can pre-register through the state’s COVID Connect website.
