There are 946 new confirmed coronavirus cases in Wisconsin.
The state is reporting 11.8 percent of tests came back positive. That’s down from yesterday’s record high of 12.8 percent, but besides yesterday, it’s the highest since May 3rd. The seven-day average is up to 9.5 percent.
There have been 80,300 confirmed cases overall. The state has 7,961 active cases, and that’s seven more.
Hospitals are treating 50 new COVID-19 patients, and 302 overall. Another 130 are waiting for test results.
Fifteen more people died, and that’s the most in a single day since there were also 15 on July 31st. There have been 1,168 confirmed deaths overall.
Brown County has 98 new cases, Outagamie 72, Manitowoc 20, and Winnebago 18. Fond du Lac, Oconto, and Shawano all have 16 more.
Green Lake and Kewaunee each added three. Waushara has two new cases, and Shawano one.
