A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash with an ambulance in Fond du Lac.
A 28-year-old Theresa man was driving the car, and he has serious injuries. Investigators believe he ran a red light at the intersection of Johnson and Main streets around 4:30 a.m. today.
Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says the patient in the ambulance, and the paramedics weren’t hurt. The paramedics weren’t using the lights and sirens for the trip to St. Agnes Hospital.
The 21-year-old man was thrown from the car, and the Theresa man was trapped inside, and had to be cut out of the car.
O’Leary says State Patrol is investigating the crash.
