State Patrol says a car that hit a Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue ambulance yesterday morning ran a red light.
Sgt. Andrew Hyer says surveillance video at the intersection of Johnson and Main streets gave them that information. He says they’re still working to find out what went on before the crash.
Fire Chief Peter O’Leary says while the crew waited for backup they helped the driver of the car who was trapped inside and a passenger that was thrown from the car. The 21-year-old man thrown from the car died. The 28-year-old driver from Theresa has life threatening injuries.
