The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department is honoring two men for saving a woman and a child.
Sheriff Timothy Wilz presented the Civil Medal of Gallantry to Zachary Schendel and Tony Tomaro. Wilz says they helped a woman and child escape from a nearly fully submerged car in the Wolf River, near Northport.
