People needing help casting an absentee ballot can get it by making a phone call.
The League of Women Voters set up a helpline in the Madison area, and it’s expanding into the Appleton area.
Co-Director Brian Post says they can help answer questions, and even find a witness to sign ballots at the local level. Volunteers can also help people request their ballot, through the state’s My Vote Wisconsin website.
The helpline number is 608-285-2141.
There’s also more information on the Appleton League of Women Voters website.
