School administrators around the Fox Valley have been asking the community to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, so kids can stay in the classroom or return to their buildings.
Oshkosh is shifting to all online classes tomorrow, and Appleton started the year with virtual learning, because of coronavirus case numbers.
Oshkosh Superintendent Vickie Cartwright says students were bringing the virus from home into all of their schools. She’s urging people to stay home when they’re sick, and take steps like wearing masks, avoiding large groups, and practicing social distancing.
Right now, she says they’re not confident they can provide a safe environment for students and staff.
