The leader of United Way Fox Cities will retire in the spring of next year.
Peter Kelly made that announcement this morning. He’s been the president for almost 23 years.
Kelly says he’s been talking with the United Way’s board about a succession plan for some time. Members hope to hire a new person by April, so they can work together until Kelly leaves in May.
He says the decision was difficult, because he loves his job and the mission of the United Way.
