Family and friends won’t be able to visit patients at Ascension’s three hospitals in the Fox Valley region.
The temporary policy starts Monday. It’s in place at the Mercy Campus in Oshkosh, St. Elizabeth Campus in Appleton, and Calumet Hospital in Chilton.
The hospitals hope they’ll have virtual visits instead.
There are some exceptions, including when children are in a hospital, and if hospice determines patients are nearing the end of their life.
