The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department says the mail that was found in Greenville was on Highway 96, by Highway CB.
There were three trays of mail, and it was supposed to be on the way to a post office. Deputies say there were several absentee ballots in the trays, and they turned everything over to a postal inspector.
The U.S. Postal Service says the Office of Inspector General is investigating.
